Hands-on experience when owning residential rentals has given Janette Hunter a solid understanding of the demands of property management.
Since 2007, Janette has managed the investment portfolios of astute clients, which gives her an extensive understanding of homeowners requiring the services of Botany Harcourts. When Janette started out in the property industry she qualified as a real estate agent, which, at the time, was required to become a property manager. Janette's career path took a new turn into residential property sales but property management was where she really wanted to work.
Her drive comes from seeing clients achieve success from their own investment properties and she takes her role very seriously. Every property is managed as if it were her own and Janette focuses on selecting quality tenants.
With high expectations, Janette expects tenants to look after properties to her standards. She develops a rapport with property owners and tenants, which enables her to proactively monitor all aspects of her role, from property inspections and maintenance, to rent payments. Lauren is passionate about Property Management with over 14 years experience in the industry and having been an investment property owner herself, she has the insight into knowing exactly what her clients require.
It is Lauren's goal to ensure clients receive a premium service which she offers through our "Service Guarantee" and also to be committed to achieving the best results in managing one of the biggest assets her clients own.
Over the past 14 years she has worked in all areas of real estate, starting out as an administrator and then moving into sales. Her heart was in property management and early on she decided to join the property management team and has worked her way up to the position she is in today.

Shanna is a confident and positive communicator which she has demonstrated in her previous roles of 13 years in a school office and then nearly two years as a rental administrator. These roles and skills lead her into her current role as an assistant property manager which she is thriving in, learning the intense specifics of a quality property management service and providing a great support to Lauren, one of our senior property managers.
Outside of work, Shanna has a passion for speedway, sport, shopping as well as spending quality time with her amazing family and friends. The newest member of her family is an adorable Bengal kitten named Rocky

Alex joined The Rent House in 2021, starting a new career in property management thanks to a natural curiosity about the industry and a keen willingness to grow, learn and develop a career in property.
Previously Alex has worked in retail and loan broker industries and brings a wealth of skills to the company and to our clients including excellent communication and language skills, speaking fluent English, Mandarin and Japanese! Alex enjoys meeting and getting to know our varied client base and finding out their needs. He gets great satisfaction from bringing to his clients positive solutions that put them at ease.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys many hobbies including cooking and baking, gardening and small DIY, model kit building and cherishes his pet tropical fish and cat.
